L.T. General XXX ranked soldier SoulReaper88 gained Honourable Hero award by the BFH Community. The OG member has six powerful heroes and gained 20 million experience points on his account so far. He belongs to the TOP100 club, and plays the game since close beta. We want to say thank you for his effort, since he is one of the most active member in OG, too.

BC2 Private Stats

As you may noticed, there is a private ranking system for our 3 Bad Company 2 servers. View them on BC2 Private Stats.

There are also ingame commands available for public players. Just type them into ingame chat:

"!stats" or "!rank"

Tells the Player their own Serverstats

"!top10"

Tells the Player the Top10 players of the server

"!stats WeaponName" or "!rank WeaponName"

Tells the Player their own Weaponstats for the specific Weapon

!stats an-94

"!top10 WeaponName"

Privately Tells the Player the Top10 Player for the specific Weapon of the server

!top10 m416

Due to the update of the system, the old stats got lost. So go for gold again!

Baserape protection and sniper limitation on server #2 hardcore

We have a script running on server #2 that punishes baseraping and sniping from certain places. Below you can see the "zones" on the maps. People that enter the "base - zones" and kill players inside get a warning 1st, get killed on 2nd and get kicked on 3rd "baseraping". It is not possible to protect the mainbases to be shot at from all over the map - this would give a complete "save zone" in the main bases.
Baserapers shooting the enemy base from far distance can not be punished automaticly - but are being kicked and banned manually by our admins when there are complains. So call for an admin in serverchat or if not available, make a forum post with playername, servername, date and time and the details of your complains.

eXtermous received Honourable Hero title

On 29/07/2010 BFH community granted Honourable Hero award to one of our members, eXtremous. People decided to choose him because of his friendliness, his forum activity, reliability and helpfulness towards his companions. He is a great video artist as well.

New Server 1 Rush

Hello

We have a new Server 1 Rush now located in london.
Pbbans is steaming and V.I.P is working.
The server has a new ip so you search it again in your server browser.

You can find it by searching for: Old Guys and select Old Guys Gaming Community #1

Server 3 is now public when we do not play wars.
It is an unranked server in squad mode.

BC2 Server commands

Attention BC2 Players!

New features on OG's Bad Company 2 section:

Private statistics - ingame statistics only from the OG's servers.

Reserve Slot for Members - Full members can reserve a free slot for theirselfs on the website.

Ingame commands - information and votings for regular players. Just type commands and votes into serverchat:

!time - tells you how late it is.

!nextmap - will display the next map in the maplist that will be loaded.

!rank - to view your statistics quickly.

!rules - read the rules of the server.

!info - read news.

!help - list and display all available commands.

Votings last 5 minutes and need a minimum of 20% voter participation. The 60% majority wins. Type "yes" or "no" in the serverchat to give your voice. Don' t forget to give your voice too in the voting you started!

!votekick playername - starts a vote to kick the player with the name "playername".

!voteskip - starts a vote to skip the current map and load the next one.

!votescramble - starts a vote to scramble and re-sort the players into the teams.

!votenextmap - start a vote for a map to be the next in the maplist/to be played after the current map. The server will list all available maps and asign a number to them. Type the asigned number of the map "1" , "2" , "3" .. and so on into the serverchat to give your vote.

Old Guys won the Road Rage!

The Road Rage is over. After some no-shows, a lot of rescheduling, but mostly a lot of fun, Old Guys Gaming Community won the Road Rage.

An epic final between Team [A]rsenal and Old Guys ended in 5-0 in favor of OG.

We hope everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to the next Road Rage!

New war server

We have bought a 16 slots war server
Here are the server details:

In the near future there will be set a password for this server and password information will be found in the private BC2 boards in the forum. This server is going to be used for match, training and stunt purposes. This server is not public and therefore not ranked, but we can do whatever we want with it regarding settings, rules and whatnot. If you are interested in tweaking the server settings, please notify an admin and he will help you with it.
